Our Mission
Sunni D Sanctuary is a volunteer-powered rescue dedicated to saving lives, one paw at a time. We provide urgent care, healing, and safe haven for animals in need across Alabama - helping them find the love and forever homes they deserve. We do this in honor of Sunni, the beloved dog who inspired it all, and whose legacy lives on in every life we touch.
Our Goals
Basic Care
Once our facility is open, Sunni D Sanctuary will provide safe shelter, proper nutrition, medical care, and loving support to every animal in our care.
Professional Rehabilitation
We are committed to providing expert rehabilitation to help animals recover physically and emotionally. Our approach includes medical treatment, behavior assessment, and individualized care plans designed to prepare each animal for a successful adoption.
Community Outreach
We actively engage with the local community to raise awareness about animal welfare and promote responsible pet ownership. Through partnerships, educational events, and volunteer opportunities, we work to build a stronger network of support for animals in need.
